Ingredients:
- Mutton - 1/2 kg
- Curd - 3 tblsp
- Onion finely chopped - 2
- Ginger-garlic paste - 3 tbsp
- Kashmiri red chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tblsp
- Turmeric powder - 1tsp
- Fennel powder - 1 tblsp
- Dry Ginger Powder - 1 tsp
- Cloves - 2
- Cardamom - 2
- Cinnamon -1/2 stick
- Bay leaves - 1
- Mace -1
- Salt
- Chopped coriander to garnish
Directions:
In a bowl mix mutton with curd, ginger-garlic paste and little salt, and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add whole garam masala.
When they start to crackle, add chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
In a bowl, add all the masala powders and add little water.
Add the chopped tomatoes and green chillies to it.
Now add mutton with marinade and stir fry on a high flame for 2 minutes.
Add the masala paste with little more water and little salt and cook with closed lid till meat is tender and gravy is medium thick in consistency.
Add the powder mixture to it and stir well.
Keep in mind that, we have already put salt while marinating the mutton, so adjust the seasoning accordingly.Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve with Rice, pulao or roti .
