Chicken Shami Kabab


INGREDIENTS: (can make 10 to 12 shammi kabaab)


  • Chicken boneless pieces cubed  - 250gms
  • Chana dal  - ¼ cup soaked for 2 hours
  • Red chilli powder - 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  • Ginger and garlic paste  - 1 tsp
  • Onion chopped - 1
  • Garam masala powder -  ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped - 1 Tbsp
  • Bread Crumbs - 2 tblsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow fry



METHOD:

Soak Chana dal for 2 hours.


In a pressure cooker add cubed chicken,chana dal ,onion,green chillies,red chilly powder,garam masala powder and salt.and also add some water. And cook it for 3 to 4 whistle.





Now the chicken ,channa dal and all other ingredients have cooked well.


Grind the above to a smooth paste.




Then add chopped coriander,bread to it.


Make small tikkis from the dough.


 Shallow fry all the tikkis.

Serve hot with lemon and onion sliced.
