Italian Tiramisu Cake Recepie



My Measurements:
1 cup=250ml

Ingredients:

For Sponge Cake:

  • All purpose flour - 1 cup
  • Eggs - 2
  • Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Melted Butter - 3 tblsp
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder - 2 tsp 
  • Instant Coffee - 1 tblspn to 2 tblspn
  • Hot Water - 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder as needed for topping

For Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • Whipped Cream- 1/2 cup
  • Mascarpone cheese - 1 cup
  • Powdered Sugar - 1/4 cup




Method:

Take hot water in a jug, add in coffee powder and mix well. Chill this up.


Preparing Cream Cheese Frosting:

Now take cream in a bowl and use a beater to whip it up till it is thick. Set aside.


Now whip the mascarpone cheese well.


Add the powdered sugar little by little and beat well until no lumps in it.


Now we have whipped the cheese.

Add the whipped cream to the cheese and fold gently.





The cream cheese frosting for the cake is ready. Refrigerate it until use.


Preparing the cake:

In a bowl beat together eggs, melted butter and powdered sugar.


The egg butter mixture is ready,


Seive the flour along with baking soda and baking powder.



Add half of the flour to egg-butter mixture and gently fold it. Then add the remaining flour and fold them well until no lumps.




Now the batter for the cake is ready.


Pour it into the baking dish and tap a little to remove air bubbles. Bake it for 35 min.
Now it's about 35 min. Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake and check whether the cake is baked well. Let the cake cool down.


Divide the cake into two layers with the help of a knife.



Pour the coffee to the half of the cake until it becomes moist. This layer is the upper part of the cake.

Now spread 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture above it.


Place the other layer of the cake above it and add in the coffee liquid above it.


Spread the remaining cream above the cake and all the sides of the cake.


With the help of a piping bag make flower designs. You can design it as per your wish.


Seive some coco powder above the cake.


Cut into pieces and serve.
