Orotti / Rice Flour Roti  / Rice Pathiri


Ingredients:

  • Roasted rice powder - 2 cups
  • Grated coconut - 1 cup
  • Water - 4 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

Heat water in a vessel.Add the grated coconut and salt to it. 



When it boils well,put the rice flour little by little simultaneousy stirring with a spatula..



Remove the vessel from fire once it thickens and allow the content to cool. 



Knead it to a fine dough using hand (Note:-This kneading part has to be done before the flour is completely cooled.)


Make it into small lemon sized balls.Take small balls and press it with a help of roti presser..



Heat a thick bottom flat pan. Cook the pathiri by turning both side till done. 


Serve hot with your favourite gravy.
