Serves:3 to 4 persons
  • Raw rice(pacharisi) -1 uzhakku(400g)
  • Egg-1
  • Coconut Milk- grated from 1 coconut(approx 4 cup including water)
  • Salt- to taste

Method of preparation:

Grind together soaked rice, egg and salt. Add water slowly and mix well with a beater or spoon until no lumps are found.

Add coconut milk to the batter. The batter should be very loose

Heat a non stick fry pan on medium heat. Add a ladle of batter and spread the batter in a circular motion.

Slightly turn the palada as shown below.

 Palada is ready.  Repeat the same until all batter finishes.Serve it with  mutton gravy.
